Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、眼表面の恒常性維持に重要なマイボーム腺におけるイントラクライン機構を解明することにより、脂質生合成や常在細菌叢の制御メカニズムを明らかにし、加齢に伴うマイボーム腺機能不全（MGD）の病態および、それに関連して生じる眼表面疾患の病態を解明するとともに、新たな治療法の開発につなげることである。
