Outline of Research at the Start

緑内障に対する新たな手術であるマイクロシャント手術のハイリスク症例に対する長期の眼圧下降成績を向上するため、１）マイクロシャント手術後、特にハイリスク症例における術後瘢痕形成のメカニズムの解明、２）ハイリスク症例に対応するマイクロシャント手術の手術手技、術後管理法の開発、３）新規マイクロシャント素材のスクリーニングの３課題を設定し、基礎研究、臨床研究の両面から取り組む。
