本研究課題は「診療情報データベースとバイオバンクを駆使した眼圧非依存性緑内障因子の同定」であり、緑内障患者データベースと紐づいた国内有数の緑内障バイオバンクと新規蛋白質定量法を駆使して血漿中の眼圧非依存性緑内障因子を同定する。将来的な眼圧下降治療を補完する革新的創薬のための基盤的な研究を実施する。
