Outline of Research at the Start	リンパ管奇形（以下、LM）は脈管奇形のひとつであり、約1万人に1人とされる希少疾患である。その中でも嚢胞が小さいmicrocystic LMは広範囲に病変が存在する症例も多く、症状を有する部分のみの切除が施行される傾向にある。しかし、残存病変が早期に再増大するという特徴を有しており、治療に難渋する症例が多い。本研究では、このような残存病変に対して有効と考えられるbleomycinという抗がん剤に注目した。本研究によりbleomycinのリンパ管内皮細胞および間葉系細胞に対する作用機序が解明されることで、新たな治療方法や新薬の開発につなげる研究の基礎を構築することが期待できる。
