Outline of Research at the Start

糖尿病では様々な合併症を併発するが、近年糖尿病性下肢潰瘍患者が増加しており、これらの患者では下肢切断に至ることが多く、その予後は非常に悪く治療法の開発が急務である。新たな治療法として細胞移植が注目されている。MNCQQ細胞は、糖尿病性潰瘍患者を対象とした臨床研究において安全性と有効性が示唆されている。糖尿病性潰瘍では線維芽細胞の機能が低下するが、MNCQQ細胞による創傷治癒改善における線維芽細胞への作用は不明である。本研究は糖尿病環境培養モデルを用いてMNCQQ細胞が線維芽細胞に及ぼす影響とその作用機序の解明を目的とし、糖尿性潰瘍患者へ提供しうる新規治療法開発の基盤を構築するものである。
