Outline of Research at the Start

乳房再建には自家組織移植、人工物埋植、自家脂肪移植などがあるが、各々に課題がある。そこで、我々はポリL乳酸(PLLA)メッシュで空隙を維持し、コラーゲンスポンジを充填した吸収性材料を開発した。細胞や成長因子を使用しないため、悪性腫瘍切除後にも安全に使用可能である。脂肪形成は確認されたが、大動物モデルではPLLAの吸収に伴う強度低下から、形成脂肪を長期維持することが困難であった。そこで、非吸収性材料で強度を長期間維持しつつ、後に除去可能な材料を開発し、脂肪形成能と抜去後の変化を確認する。本材料は乳癌術後の新たな再建法として期待される。
