Outline of Research at the Start	人体組織の立体形態の再現のための新技術の開発を目的とした研究である。現在行われている組織移植は、患者の身体的負担を伴う。人工材料は、皮下浅層に埋入した場合、容易に感染を惹起しやすい。再生医療による軟骨再生は、十分量の軟骨が再生されない、移植軟骨の形態維持が保証されない、などの点から現時点では有効な手段となっていない。そこで、我々は、再生医療を伴わず、かつ最小限の自家組織により立体構造の再建を行なうために、超薄層化軟骨シートを開発し、人工物と組みあわせて再建を行なうという新概念の確立を目標とする。
