Outline of Research at the Start

HMGB1とHMGB2が舌がんの悪性形質や予後に与える影響を解明し、舌がん治療・診断へのバイオマーカーの開発を目指す。HMGB 1・2が、舌がんにおいての増殖、浸潤、腫瘍免疫に関わっていること、およびHMGB1・２を直接阻害することで、効率よく舌がんの悪性形質を抑制することを証明する。また、HMGB1・2は細胞質に蓄積された後、分泌される。その生性質を利用し、血液検査でがんマーカーとして治療指標や予後予測が可能かを検索する。
