Outline of Research at the Start

超高齢社会において、褥瘡や慢性創傷は増加傾向にある。創傷治癒には上皮間葉転換(EMT)が関与していることが知られているが、未だ機序を含め明解な治療法を示すまでには至っていない。申請者はこれまでに、転写因子SOX4がケラチノサイトにおいてEMT様フェノタイプを可逆的に誘導することを見出した。本研究では、SOX4 のゲノム結合部位および標的遺伝子を同定し、SOX4によるケラチノサイトのEMT制御機構を解明することを目的とする。
