Outline of Research at the Start

ステロイドを投与している患者に象牙質知覚過敏様の激しい歯痛（ステロイド由来歯痛）が報告されているが、発生メカニズムは不明であり、現在効果的な治療法もない。本研究ではステロイドの象牙質痛・歯髄痛発生過程、象牙質形成過程における作用点を生物物理薬理学的に検討しステロイド投与時の象牙芽細胞と三叉神経節細胞の機能変化を明らかにする。得られた結果からステロイドによる歯痛発生と象牙質形成調節メカニズムを解明し、新規治療法の開発につなげる。
