Outline of Research at the Start

ボツリヌス毒素製剤は日本および欧米先進国においても適応承認されていない。申請者は35年前より顎口腔ジストニアをボツリヌス毒素製剤によって治療してきた。申請者は顎口腔ジストニアの疼痛、構音・咀嚼障害、QOLなどを総合的に評価するアセスメントツール、さらに不随意運動の鑑別診断用問診票を、またCAD/CAMによるガイドを用いる再現性の高い注射法を開発した。本研究の目的は顎口腔ジストニアの患者にA型毒素製剤をCAD/CAMによる確実な注射法で応用し、アセスメントツールにて客観的に評価し、トリプルマスク化した世界初の無作為化比較試験でボツリヌス治療の効果を検証することである。
