Outline of Research at the Start

超高齢社会となった我が国において一人平均喪失歯数は減少傾向にあるものの、高度に顎堤が吸収した患者に対する歯科治療は困難となることがあり、高度に吸収した顎堤にインプラントを埋入せざるをえないケースは多い。広範囲にわたる骨造成を行うには依然として自家骨移植が必要であるが、知覚麻痺等の様々な欠点から患者に敬遠されがちである。そこで本研究では、上述した種々の計画に則り顎骨再生治療実現のための高骨形成MBMSCの分離・培養に関する基礎的研究を行い、確実な骨再生医療に繋げることを目的とする。
