Outline of Research at the Start

デジタルデンチャーは高齢化や技工士不足を背景に需要が高まる一方、材料の強度や接着性に課題がある。申請者は自己修復性高分子に着目し、3Dプリンタ用義歯材料への応用を目指す。本研究では、亀裂を自然に修復する機能をもつ材料の開発に加え、強固に接着する修理用レジンやリライン材の開発も行う。これにより義歯の耐久性向上と修理頻度の低下が期待され、健康長寿社会の実現と歯科医療従事者の負担軽減に貢献する。
