Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、認知症発症モデルマウスを用いて、咬合不全による咀嚼機能の低下が脳組織を含めた体内の終末糖化産物（AGEｓ）の蓄積やそれらの受容体の発現変化に及ぼす影響を調べ、逆に、正常咬合の回復による健全な咀嚼機能による歯根膜細胞へのメカノストレスが液性や神経性因子の発現を介してAGEsの蓄積を抑制するという仮説を検証する。
