Outline of Research at the Start

口腔細菌の中で，特にNeisseria属菌は高いACH産生能を有するために，口腔がんのリスク因子として注目されている。口腔がんに対する最大の発症予防は，危険因子の早期除去である。そこで申請者は，口腔がんの発症予防・リスク判定に有用な細菌検査法の確立を着想した。予備研究を行った結果，口腔Neisseria属菌が最も口腔がんと関連する指標菌として最適であると確信を得た。本研究の目的は，口腔がん発症に関連する細菌に着目し，本邦で増加の一途を辿っている口腔がんの発症予防・リスク判定に有益な科学的根拠に基づいた検査法を確立することである。
