Outline of Research at the Start

がん化学療法の有害事象「口腔粘膜炎」を予防するための漢方薬を探索する。現在，口腔粘膜炎に対する治療法は，鎮痛薬の投与やステロイド軟膏の塗布など対症療法のみで根本的な治療法はない。本研究では，高齢者や様々な基礎疾患を併発するがん患者に対して有害事象が少なく，予防目的にほとんど研究されていない「漢方薬」に着目する。
