Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、既存のEpigenetic Aging Clockを用いて、加熱式タバコ抽出物が歯肉の老化に与える影響を評価する。これは、加熱式タバコがエピジェネティクスレベルで口腔の老化にどのように寄与するかを明らかにする初の試みとなる可能性がある。このように、本研究は加熱式タバコと口腔老化との関連をエピジェネティックな観点から評価する新しい試みとして、国内外の研究動向の中で独自の位置を占めることが期待される。
