Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、高齢者のオトガイ舌骨筋の筋質の規定要因を解明し、それをもとに、筋質のうち、筋の硬さに着目した、筋を柔軟にし、筋力を高める訓練を試行し、その訓練効果の検証を行うことを目的とする。具体的には、オトガイ舌骨筋機能や筋硬度変化と口腔および嚥下機能、全身状態との関係を調査し、筋質の規定要因を検出する。また、筋内部の複数の弾性要素が筋質の大きな部分を構成するとの仮定に基づき、筋の弾性(硬さ)を考慮した、伸張性収縮を主とした訓練法をオトガイ舌骨筋に応用し、既存の訓練法との訓練効果を検証する。
