Outline of Research at the Start	我が国において、死後造影検査を広く行える技術的手技や専用デバイスをできるだけ安価に開発し、まずは篤志献体で実施できるガイドラインの作成を目指す。具体的には①専用造影剤（CT用・MRI用）の完成を目指す。これは適切な原料から安定した安価な造影剤でなければならない。②専用デバイスの開発として撮影トレーを改良する。複数のモダリティで撮影する際に、遺体の移動を安全かつ簡便に行うことは重要である。③定量的死後MR検査の開発として、トラクトグラフィやT1およびT2マッピングを研究し、死因究明に役立つプロトコールの提供を検討する。これらの結果は学会を通して広く公開していく。
