Outline of Research at the Start

大規模な医療データが医薬品の安全性を監視することに役立ってきている。しかし医療データは、診療目的で利用されるため、有害事象を特定できるとは限らない。二次利用のデータで有害事象を定義し、その妥当性を検証するためのアウトカムバリデーション研究が不可欠である。そこで我々は、大規模医療データを活用した医薬品有害事象の可視化は可能であるのか？という学術的「問い」に対し、免疫抑制剤による有害事象（日和見感染）、免疫チェックポイント阻害剤（ICI）による有害事象（irAE）に着目し、アウトカムバリデーション研究を行い、安全な薬物治療に貢献することを目的に研究を実施する。
