Outline of Research at the Start

2010年に始まった地域枠制度は、医師少数区域への配置を促し医師偏在を解消しようとしているが、多額の奨学金投入にもかかわらず、医師少数区域が依然として偏在指標で高い数値を示し、脱却に至っていない。抜本的な対策が求められる。加えて予備的研究では、地域枠制度による医師数増加の継続はコスト面で困難であることが示唆される。国はオンライン診療やコメディカルへのタスクシフトも推進中だが、地域の医療を包括的に測る指標は存在せず、新たな評価指標の構築が急務だ。本研究では、地域枠制度の費用分析を精緻化し、地域医療の充足度を総合的に捉える新指標の開発を目指す。
