Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、患者視点の理解と共感を深めるためにVR技術を活用し、医学生や臨床研修医が患者の立場から医療行為を体験できる学習環境を開発・評価することを目指す。従来の座学では難しい患者の心理理解や共感力を高め、コミュニケーション能力や状況認知能力を向上させる。研究期間は3年間で、代表研究者と5名の分担者が患者データ収集、VRコンテンツの開発、評価プログラムの作成と運用、実施環境の整備、プログラムの試行と評価を行う。最終的には患者視点に基づく新たな医療教育のスタンダードを確立し、質の高い医療を提供できる人材育成を目指す。また、従来の知識中心の教育を大きく補完し、実践的臨床能力を養うことが期待される。
