Outline of Research at the Start

多種化学物質過敏症（Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, 以下MCS）は、多種多様な化学物質や環境条件からの微量な刺激で、非特異的な多臓器の症状を呈する疾患です。難治性喘息や食物・薬剤アレルギーと鑑別すべき重要な疾患でありますが、MCSの病態は世界的に明らかにされておりません。そこで、本研究では、患者さんの遺伝子を広く全般的に解析することで、MCSに関わる遺伝要因を明らかにし、本疾患の病態解明を進めていきます。
