Outline of Research at the Start

本邦における子宮頸がん検診は、長年子宮頸部の擦過細胞診が推奨されてきた。しかし、頸がんの発症に深く関わっているHPV（ヒトパイローマウイルス）を検出することで、細胞診より感度良く疾患を検出することが可能となり、現在多くの国においてHPV検査が検診に導入されている。本邦においても、HPV検査が検診に導入されるようになったが、どのような検診方法をどのようなアルゴリズムで運用するかなど、未だ結論が出ていないのが現状である。本研究は、既にHPV検査を検診に導入している自治体のフィールド調査を通じて、本邦での至適検診制度の確立を目的に行うものである。
