Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は「活き生き長寿」社会を創ることを目的とし、平成24年度より京都府立与謝の海病院（現、京都府立医科大学附属北部医療センター）を拠点として開始した地域関連課題コホート研究を基に、丹後地域全体に展開する長寿コホート研究である。平成25年度に京都府立医科大学に設置された「全人的医療人材育成・研究センターの「健康長寿コホート研究」の一環として、丹後地域における中高齢者を対象に、老化に関する評価を行い、今後数年にわたって定期的な追跡調査を行なう。高齢化過疎化が進むこの地域での中高齢者の老化に関する疫学的な実態を明らかにし、この地域での老年病、とりわけ認知症予防のための生活指導、啓発活動につなげる。
