Outline of Research at the Start

気候変動の健康への影響の解明と対応の検討は急務である。本研究では，ここ数十年の気候の変化が，高齢者の健康の変化へおよぼす影響を明らかにすることを目的とする。気候の変化に最もネガティブな影響を受けやすい脆弱層である高齢者を対象に，日本および台湾において，環境・気候の変化の経年的なデータと，高齢者の健康の大規模コホートデータを用いて，縦断的研究を実施する。経年的な環境・気候データと高齢者のコホートデータを活用した先駆的な縦断的研究により，気候変動から高齢者の健康を守るためのエビデンス構築に寄与するこができる。
