| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は、今まで試みられることがなかった「絵本を用いた高齢者のコミュニ
ケーション・認知機能等の維持、改善に向けた介入研究」実施することである。今までと異なり認知機能が低下した高齢者を対象に、高齢者の子ども・孫、友人、施設職員、学生等が、高齢者と一緒に、または、高齢者に絵本を読み聞かせるものである。本研究で用いる絵本「昭和のむかし話」は「１枚の絵画＋約３分の創作話」の計30話からなり、①絵画は昭和の風景や出来事で、懐かしさを感じられるもの、②話は長編でないため、高齢者も家族、介護者等も疲れることがない。③介入後に、高齢者に自らの過去を振り返って頂き、語るという回想法の応用として位置づけられる。
