Outline of Research at the Start

梅毒が欧米、日本を中心に世界的に大流行している。日本において梅毒の診断を行っている病院、診療所、診療科、臨床症状、梅毒のステージに関する先行研究や報告はほとんどない。我々は国際的な梅毒疫学研究のコンソーシアムを作成し、梅毒の流行の解析および対策モデルの作成に取り組んでいる。本研究では世界、日本で公開されているデータベースを用いて後ろ向きの記述研究を行う。アジアを含めた世界の梅毒の疫学情報を集め、解析する。加えて日本において梅毒を診断した病院、診療所、診療科、ステージ、臨床症状、併存疾患について調査を行う。
