Outline of Research at the Start

一般学童コホートを対象に野菜摂取が腸内細菌叢や血中代謝物を介して学童期小児の健康に与える影響を、具体的指標をもとに明らかにする。光学的皮膚カロテノイド量（ベジスコア）を年3回測定するとともに、腸内細菌叢の解析や血中代謝物の分析を網羅的に行なう。健康状態の指標として、身体発育、欠席状況とその理由、排便習慣、食習慣、運動習慣、睡眠時間、アレルギー症状、血清脂質、血中特異的IgE値、などを調査する。3年間の追跡期間を経て得られたこれらの結果を集約し、野菜摂取、腸内細菌叢及び血中代謝物、健康指標の相互の関連性を解析して、学童へのより効果的な野菜摂取の促進へつなげる。
