Outline of Research at the Start

接触により付着した試料であるタッチサンプルはごくわずかなヒト由来の細胞しか含んでいないため、STR型が検出されない場合も多い。また、タッチサンプルは複数人のDNAを含むことも多く、結果の解釈が複雑かつ困難なものとなっている。本研究では、タッチサンプルの分解DNAに着目し、より多くのDNAを効率よく回収する方法の検討を行う。また、次世代シークエンサーを活用した大規模かつ高感度なDNA型検出を行うことで、検出が困難とされるタッチサンプルに特化した新たな個人識別法の構築を行う。
