Outline of Research at the Start

近年、外国人の日本での就労における劣悪な生活・労働環境、職場での差別といった課題が報告されている。日本は諸外国に比べて、特に「差別禁止」に対する移民統合政策指数が極めて低く、外国人労働者を差別から守るシステムが欠如しており、職場での差別の現状、人種や習慣、言語能力と差別の関連、さらに差別の内容と健康との関連について包括的に研究したものは見あたらない。そこで、本研究は多言語で調査票を作成して全国調査を行い、日本における職場や就業に関する外国人労働者への差別の実態と関連要因、差別が及ぼす健康への影響及び必要なサポートを明らかにし、多文化共生社会の形成につなげる基礎資料を得る。
