Outline of Research at the Start

リンパ浮腫はリンパ液の流れが滞ることでむくみなどの症状が引き起こされる病気で、早期段階からの対処が必要であるが、リンパ浮腫の専門治療施設は都市部に集中しているため、遠隔地に住む早期発症患者は気軽に専門治療施設を受診することが困難な状況にある．我々は本研究でスマートフォンから簡単にアクセスできるリンパ浮腫診断支援ツールの開発を試みる．送信した画像や質問への回答から、AIがリンパ浮腫の可能性を診断し最寄りの専門病院を紹介するシステムの構築をめざす．このツールにより、リンパ浮腫患者が早期に治療を受けることが可能になり、重症化の防止に役立つことが期待される．
