Outline of Research at the Start

褥瘡は身体にかかる圧力、摩擦、またはせん断力によって引き起こされる局所的な組織の損傷である。手術患者は、長時間同一体位となり褥瘡リスクが高まる。先行研究では毛細血管圧が32 mmHgを超えると褥瘡が形成される。しかし、最近の研究ではこの値は必ずしも普遍的に当てはまるわけではないことが示されている。術前に手術患者の褥瘡リスクを評価し、褥瘡予防策を実施するが、どの時点で褥瘡を発症するかは予測できない。そこで本研究では、手術患者で褥瘡が発生する体圧やその持続時間のカットオフ値を明らかにし、褥瘡発生予測スケールの開発を目指す。
