Outline of Research at the Start

視覚から8割以上の情報を得ているため，視覚障害によりロービジョンになるとQOLの低下を引き起こす．高齢化社会を迎えロービジョン者数は，増加しているが，全盲より生活の自立度が高いため十分な支援がされていないことが課題である．本研究では，ロービジョン者の生活を支えるケアプログラムの開発と外来診療への適用に向けた検討を行うことを目的に，視機能検査値と見え方尺度，既存のQOL尺度との関係を明らかにしたうえで，疾患特異性のある生活評価尺度を開発する．さらに，ロービジョンとなった人の生活を支援するケアプログラムの開発と評価を行う．本研究を遂行することでロービジョンケアの一助となることが期待できる．
