Outline of Research at the Start

高齢者のがん罹患者数は増加の一途をたどっており、多くの後期高齢がん患者が外来で薬
物療法を受け、治療とともに生活を送っている。後期高齢がん患者は生理的機能や認知機能の低下などの脆弱性を抱えた状態で、ひとりの人間として尊重されながら安全に治療を受けるために、医療職者の多面的な支援を必要としている。本研究では、外来で薬物療法を受ける後期高齢がん患者への支援のため、看護師が活用する「看護アドボカシーモデル」を開発して臨床への実装と評価を行うことで、後期高齢がん患者が治療と生活を安全に安心して両立できることをめざす。
