Outline of Research at the Start

若年性認知症は、認知症をもつ人が働き盛りの世代であり、社会的役割の喪失、家族内の役割交代、中途退職による経済的困窮など高齢期に発症する認知症とは異なる課題がある。このような背景には、認知症に対する誤解や偏見、高齢者向けの介護保険サービスへの不適応など様々な要因が複雑に絡んでいる。
以上のことから、家族の機能低下を伴う出来事から困難や葛藤を抱えながらも、家族の関係性を築き直し、新たな目標に向けて家族関係や家族機能を回復する概念である家族のリカバリーに注目し、若年性認知症をもつ人とその家族のリカバリーを、質的記述的に明らかにし、若年性認知症をもつ人とその家族のリカバリーを支えるケアの示唆を得る。
