心的外傷後成長（Post Traumatic Growth：以下、PTG）は、PTSDの有無に関わらず経験する可能性があり、個人の特性や環境要因、対処方法などがPTGに影響を与える要因として示唆されている。ICUにおいては緊急入院となった救急重症患者への治療や身体面でのケアが優先されることから、その家族への心理的影響を初期の段階から理解し、必要な支援や具体的介入を十分に行えていない現状がある。本研究は、ICUに緊急入院となった患者の家族が経験するPTGの実態とその関連要因を明らかにすることを目的とし、ICUにおける新たな家族看護を創出していく。
