Outline of Research at the Start	日本では認知症高齢者の自動車運転は禁止されている。自動車運転は社会生活に必要であり、社会的孤立によるADL/QOL低下を防止するためにも、より客観的で精度の高い評価指標の確立が必要である。我々は令和4年度～令和6年度の研究(22K10456)で、川崎医科大学附属病院もの忘れ外来・運転免許外来患者を対象として、患者の臨床的および神経心理学的特徴、画像検査、運転シミュレーター検査を比較した。本研究では、リアルワールドデータとしての運転習慣と違反や事故歴、公安委員会における認知機能検査結果と外来で評価したデータを比較し、医療機関において認知機能低下患者に有用な安全運転能力評価指標を検証する。
