「在宅パーキンソン病（PD）者の災害備えに関する研究」では、PD病者は日々の生活と災害時も考え「薬」「物」「身体」「人」を備えていた。その経緯は家族・同病者と前向きに生き災害時も生き延びたいと「あきらめない姿勢」をもっていた。一方、働き盛りの若年性PD病者は仕事や経済面等に不安や困難を抱え近隣との関係を避け「人」との関係が希薄であった。災害時に近隣から支援を受けられないことは、動きづらい特徴を持つPD病者にとって人命にかかわる事態の発生につながる。そこで、災害時に受援を受けやすいと推測する近隣との関係構築に焦点をあて在宅で療養する若年性PD病者の災害の備えの特徴を明らかにし、支援策を提案する。
