Outline of Research at the Start

我が国ではOver The Counter;一般用医薬品（以下、OTC）を活用したセルフメディケーションが推進されている。一方、高齢者の薬剤の不適切使用による有害作用は深刻な問題となっており、それはOTCの併用によって助長されている。特に、地域で生活する高齢者にとって、処方薬とOTCが併用されている実情がある。そのような高齢者の全身状態のコントロールを支援する一環で服薬管理の役割を担う訪問看護師の役割は大きい。本研究の目的は、在宅高齢者のOTCの適正使用に向けた訪問看護師教育プログラムの開発とその有用性を検証することである。
