Outline of Research at the Start	児童虐待件数は増加する一途であり、社会問題となっている。なかでもネグレクトは、子どもへの不適切な対応が長期化によって子どもの健康に影響を与え、命にかかわる問題となる。また、ネグレクトされて育った人がセルフ・ネグレクトになり繰り返されるため、支援者が介入して世代間連鎖を断ち切る必要がある。しかし、若年層のセルフ・ネグレクトについては十分研究がされていない。そこで本研究では、子どものネグレクト対応として親のネグレクト行動から子どもへのネグレクトの影響を予測する尺度を開発し、セルフ・ネグレクトの潜在的リスクとの関連要因を明らかにすることによって、有効なネグレクト予防プログラムの実施をめざす。
