Outline of Research at the Start

在宅で生活する重症児の口腔衛生管理についてを把握するために、在宅重症児の口腔衛生管理・齲蝕予防の実態について質的研究を行うこと、そして歯科治療の必要性の程度と対応可能な歯科医療の実態について地理情報システム(GIS）を用いて地域特性を明らかにすることである。
重症児には日常生活で介護や地域のサポートが必要とされているが、適切な歯科診療の不足は著しいQOLの低下を引き起こす。よって歯科保健医療について現状と養育者の口腔衛生管理についての思い、地域特性を明らかにし、エビデンスに基づき地域包括ケアシステムの構築のための重症児を中心とした看護支援、医療職種の連携の在り方について考察する。
