| Outline of Research at the Start |
急性期病院に入院する高齢者は、せん妄発症のリスクが極めて高く、せん妄を発症すると、患者の高い死亡率や入院期間の延長、認知症のリスクに繋がるため、その対策が必要である。せん妄のケア加算が導入され対策が広まりつつあるが、入院患者の高齢化や医療の高度化などにより対処困難な状態が続いている。
そこで、本研究では、センシングデバイスを用いて、高齢入院患者の生体データによるせん妄の実態を明らかにし、生体データをせん妄の「早期発見」「効果的介入」や評価に活用することを試み、センシングデバイスを用いたせん妄ケアのアウトカム評価を行う。急性期病院のせん妄対策やせん妄ケアの質向上に繋がることが期待される。
