本研究では、難病ピアサポーターの養成研修プログラム・テキストの検討に関する研究実績を踏まえ、前回の研究から４年経過した現在の全国のセンターにおける難病ピアサポーター養成研修の実態と課題を明らかにし、より質の高い研修を行うために保健師または難病療養支援の経験がある相談支援員やピアサポーターの視点をより反映し、研究成果を活かし、研究者間で検討を重ね、当事者の意見を反映した、より質の高いテキストへと改訂を行うことを目的としている。
