Outline of Research at the Start

口腔の健康は全身の健康と密接に関連していると言われている。本研究は、地域で生活する高齢者を対象とした継続的な口腔内保湿プログラムがオーラルフレイル、フレイル及び介護予防に効果的であるかを明らかにするものである。
プログラム介入群には、口腔内保湿を維持向上させるプログラムを自宅でも継続実施できるよう指導をする。口腔内保湿プログラムを実施しない対照群とともに、オーラルフレイル、全身のフレイル、および介護度に関する評価を3ヶ月毎に約2年、縦断的調査として実施する。
これらを明らかにする事により、これからの高齢者看護・介護に有用な基礎的資料になると考える。
