Outline of Research at the Start

在宅療養者の約7割が低栄養傾向にあり、地域で暮らす高齢者において低栄養が課題となっている。地域で暮らす高齢者の入院や再入院に低栄養が影響しており、入院を回避し在宅生活を送るためには体重減少を防ぎ、栄養状態を良好に維持することが重要になる。本研究は、訪問看護利用中の高齢者を対象にこれまでに解明されていなかった縦断的な解析により体重減少と健康アウトカム(入院、予後)との関連とその要因を明らかにすることを目的とする。今後、訪問看護利用中の高齢者の体重減少による入院を回避し、QOL向上につながるための体重減少予防モデルに向けた効果的な方策の構築を目指す。
