Outline of Research at the Start

日本では外国にルーツをもつ人々のうち、定住コリアンの高齢化率は30.6％と日本人と同
程度の値を示している。定住コリアン高齢者の社会的孤立の実態、医療や介護のニーズの把握は、公衆衛生看護学にて重要な課題となる。社会的に孤立した高齢者は、健康や医療に関わる情報の獲得と活用に困難を要する。定住コリアン高齢者は、近隣住民を含めた社会とのかかわりが希薄な傾向にあり、健康や生活に関わる制度やサービスの利用につながりにくい。そこで本研究では定住コリアン高齢者の社会的孤立と支援方法について明らかにし、多様な社会文化的背景を有する人々の孤立予防のための支援も含めた地域包括ケアシステムの推進にも寄与すると考える。
