Outline of Research at the Start	日本の精神科医療では脱施設化を進めているが、精神障害者の地域移行や地域定着は進んでいない。特に、遠隔地で社会資源が限られている離島においては、精神障害者の地域定着を図る地域包括ケアシステムについては確立されていない。本研究では、精神障害者が離島での生活を獲得していくプロセスやそれに関わる要因、離島の精神障害者の家族の状況と必要な支援、離島での地域在宅継続に向けた支援について調査し、離島に退院した精神障害者を支える地域包括ケアモデルの構築を目指す。この研究によって、離島だけでなく、精神科病院の所在地との物理的距離のあるへき地など、遠隔地で限られた社会資源の基盤をもつ地域での支援に貢献できる。
