Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、実際在宅医療に携わる訪問看護ステーション、訪問診療機関を調査対象とし、訪問看護における感染性廃棄物の処理・訪問看護中の取り扱い等問題となる点を抽出することに加えて、所属市町村の在宅医療廃棄物取扱いの状況、マニュアルの有無、患者への教育、主治医との連携といった項目も調査し、在宅医療廃棄物を安全、確実に処理するための指針を提案することを目的とする。このように在宅医療廃棄物に焦点を絞った研究は国内外でも例が少なく、日本国内の在宅医療廃棄物の取り扱い状況、現状を正しく把握し、問題点とその解決案を提案できる唯一の研究である。
