Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、介護施設における中等度から重度の要介護者を対象に、QOL（生活の質）評価指標の妥当性を検証し、介護施設で行われるアクティビティや家族面会などの介入がQOLや身体的・精神的機能に与える影響を明らかにすることを目的とする。既存のQOL評価が短期的なデータのみである中、3年間の前向きコホート研究を通じて、QOLの長期的な推移を追跡し、各指標の最小可検変化量を評価する。また、アクティビティや家族面会といった社会的関わりがQOL改善の効果をもたらすか、また効果修飾があるかを検証し、個別化された介護ケアのための科学的根拠を提供する。
